Hi everyone,I am going to call my gyno tomorrow morning ,but am pretty sure I will not be able to be seen right away,so am hoping someone as a idea of what is going on with me,I am 45 yrs old,w/5 children,my periods have always been off,but this is the first time I have experianced anything like this,on Aug 16th I received nerve block injections to my lower spine, that night my lower left side(front) started to hurt real bad, very localized ,then my period started, well the pain is just a ache now but the bleeding has never stopped, its close to a month now,at first I thought perhaps I was starting the change of life, but the bleeding is getting heavier,I have searched the web,but since my lower back is such a problem (pain wise) I cannot include or disclude this as a symptom, can a cyst cause this, change of life,or what?Thanx's for any help I recieve,Diana :)

A cyst could cause that. You do need to see your doc. Maybe an ultra sound..that would show a lot. Why did you have a nerve block??

Hi flintrock,I had surgery to l4-l5 area for stenosis of the spine last year, and a fusion of the cervical spine, its been quite a year! Then this started happening,at first I thought it had something to do w/the injections, but I would think it would have stopped by now.I will post back as soon as my gyno see's me.Diana
