Hi Everyone,
Welcome new comers and hello to some old.
It has been almost 8 months of my quit and I can believe I am still smoke free.
I will give you some food for thought for all new quiters.
1. My wheeze is gone, didnt have much of one but I did notice one.
2. I smell much better.
3. I love not having a NIQ fit anymore. I was only able to go at least 2 hours without dying for a smoke. I would get so moody until I had my fix. Now, it is nice to be at a nice even mood all day long.
4. I still do not notice that my food taste better, it still taste the same to me.
5. I love that I do not have to stand in the rain, snow, cold or heat to have a smoke.
What I want to say, you all can do it. You really have to want it. Take one day at a time. Time is what you need to make it. After 7 months there may be only one day a month when I will get a craving. but, the craving will only last a minute or less. Good luck to you all.....Hang in there and keep moving forward....dont let that silly stick get in your way. ;)

mikeandryansmom--
Wow, you are doing so great! Congratulations to you! :)
One big benefit you forgot, is that you are now saving a lot of money, right? Can't forget that one! :D And I think it's so great that you are having so few cravings! At 8 months, mine had lessened quite a bit too, but not as well as you're doing with yours! (see people, they DO get better (LESS!) the longer you stay smoke free! I can't hardly stand to be around it at all anymore! (almost 2 years, the end of this month)
Way to go girl!!!....and keep it up--forever!! ;)
