i was hit from behind by an 18 wheeler, my neck was cleared before i ever made it into a room in the e.r., because i did not hit my head they said it was fine and removed the neck brace, that was 2 1/2 yrs ago, i always felt pain in my muscles following the accident but i was told i had fibromyalgia, even though my primary md never examined me, we only sat and talked, but never any contact, and never an exam, i trusted him, but i have been gettin worse every day for the last 2 years, i have numbness in my limbs and chin, tingling, a sharp pain that runs down my spine, mostly the upper spine, my NEW md says i have spastic muscles and hyper reflexes, and my muscles are in a state of permanent spasm it seems, he sent me for an mri and all i know is they said something is wrong at t1 and t2, what? i dont know. he ordered the next mri for 10 days later, that was yesterday, so now i wait, why repeat it? why do they repeat such an accurate and expensive test? i keep telling myself it is fine they did it just to be sure, but my body is telling me something is terribly wrong. if any one has any insight, GOOD or BAD, i will take it ,, thanks
