I had this whole plan to lose 5 pounds this summer..and the first 2 weeks I've ordered pizza every single night (except for 2 days), one of those two days me and my boyfriend split a whole pint of icecream and we each had 3 chocolate bars (oh and some spicy fries), and the other night I went out to dinner and had Barbeque Chicken (loooots) and cheesecake. I was doing so good before that, but now that I'm in this habit, it is SO hard to break. Today was a horrible day, and all my bad eating hasnt been showing on me, so my boyfriend wants to treat me to yet ANOTHER pizza. What's a girl to do..

First of all I know exactly how you feel! During the winter I went through my binging and overeating of BAD BAD foods! I felt like all I could think about was eating, and I wanted the worst stuff too. Honestly I just got bored of eating junk all the time and I went back to my healthy diet, with a few treats every now and then. I also started excersizing 1 hr a day, 6 days a week. If you have excercise, then the bad food won't do as much harm as if you were to sit around all day doing nothing but eating.
What you can do is if you get pizza, order a side salad with it and eat the salad first then just have 1 slice of pizza. You can even get pizza with veggies or chicken, so that your not eating just pizza. When you go out to dinner order something healthy...then split a peice of cheesecake with someone, or order something you enjoy that might not be too healthy and skip dessert. Your young so enjoy the foods you like...just don't eat more then you have to. It's all about moderation.

Hello, Don't give up the ship. Pizza can actually be a good food. Plain pizza already has protein, a vegetable, and a starch. If you search hard enough, you can even find a pizza diet. One of my friends lost a lot of weight on it. (I think it was 20 or 30 lbs.)Just keep the other 2 meals light. (That's how I cheat.)For example: Bkf: coffie/tea and 1 serving of fruit. - Lunch: Water and a BIG vegetable salad - Super: Water/tea/diet soda and YES...pizza. Then a little exercise/dancing and a little...Anyhow, you get the general idea.

holy crap. The amount of junk food you ate during your first 2 weeks is probably what I would eat in 6 months.
Is your boyfriend trying to lose weight at all? Maybe you and him and team up and go on a diet and exercise together so hopefully one of you would stop the other from binging out.

Well I've been eating good this week, but I'm not going to diet, I'm only 90 pounds and 16 so I don't think I need to go that far yet.

Just a suggestion with regards to Pizza...
Have you ever tried making your own pizza using a large Pita Bread as the base? Top it with heaps of vegies, lean meat (if you want meat on there), and top it with low fat cheese and chuck it in the oven until the cheese is golden brown...if you're careful about your toppings, they're surprisingly healthy! And if you make them right, you will never want to buy a fatty take-away pizza again - the pita-pizza's I make taste better than ANY take-away pizza I've ever encountered.
Now I'm hungry! http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif

Wait snowbunny, you are 90 pounds and want to lose 5 more?? It seems like you are just a teenager caught up in typical teenage eating habits. Your body is growing and you probably do need to eat a lot of calories to sustain yourself. Try simply cutting back on the junk food and eating plenty of healthy stuff during your meals and maybe you wont be as hungry for all the junk later. I really wouldn't worry about it too much, this stuff happens when you are a teen and out of school for the summer. Next time go out to dinner with your boyfriend somewhere you can get a meal with some veggies on the side or some soup and salad or fish or something.
