Ive been excercising over the summer and trying to eat healthy but i just dont know what exactly i should be eating...so ive tried going on an all soup diet, and drinking nothing but water...soup for breakfast, lunch, and dinner...usually cream of chicken or chicken noodle. ive lost quite a bit of weight from my usual diet. ive cut out bread, cheese, and all soda, sugars, and sweets...will this all soup strategy have any effect or am i doomed to being a 5 foot 7, 158 lb fatass...

For one thing, you probably aren't getting enough calories throughout the day. You should be eating 4-6 small meals a day. Yes, you are right about cutting back on the carbs (breads, pasta, rice, chips) and elimating refined sugars, sweeters, and sodas. Also, try to elimate anything that has hyrdogenated oils! You want to eat more protein, veggies, fats, and fruit. Don't be affraid to eat cheese, it's better than a piece of bread or chips. So, if you get hungry mid-afternoon, eat a piece of fruit or a handful of nuts. You can also eat a cup of cottage cheese and some fruit. There are so many ways to change your eating habits, you just have to want to make this change.
I'm not really sure what your exercise routine is, but you should do at least 30 minutes of cardio a day. You may also want to begin lifting weights as well. Finally, be sure to drink lots of water, especially if you exercise! Good Luck and hangin there, it doesn't happen over night!
