View Full Version : Is this a toothache?

Weird question maybe but last morning I woke up with pain in the right side of my face. I couldn't tell if it was my ear, teeth or throat that hurt so I went thru the day taking painkillers ( that didn't help much ) and did the best I can. The pain eased up sometimes and got worse at times. Well this morning I woke up and I'm still in pain. I'm still not sure where the actual pain is located but this morning my gum and upper teeth on my right side is super sore. If I just push my tounge gently on my teeth it hurts like....
There's no way I'll have breakfast this morning. Anyway, I went thru my mouth pushing gently on the teeth and there is one that hurts a lot more than the others. So I'm leaning towards a toothache.
What do you think....do I call the dentist or my Dr. I still feel like my throat and ear hurts a little but it's more in my teeth today. I guees I should mention that this tooth that hurts more has been giving me problems since I had a deep filling done a year and half ago. I've gone to the dentist once complaining about it, they could not see anything wrong with the tooth and blaimed it on my wisdom tooth which was pulled. It's still been sensitive but I've felt a little hopeless after being misdiagnosed etc. Help!

I would so go to the dentist! ASAP. You wait it could get worse. I have had several teeth absess, and my face would swell up, and make me hurt every where in the head area. Good luck! Betty
