Hi all
I am 6' and 220lb
I have been eating healthy and excersing regularly for the past two weeks.
I have lost 2 inches off my waist. Also, i feel i have lost some off my thigh and butt because i feel my pants are getting bigger.

However, my weight is not dropping. Is this normal?

it's normal if you are losing fat and gaining muscle. muscle wieghs more than fat, but takes up less space on your body.

does doing cardio excerises make me gain muscles?
I thought its suppose to just burn calories.

it depends on how intense your cardio is, how high you set the resistance. for example, if you are biking for 45 minutes on a level easy for you, then that is purely just burning calories. since there is no resistance, you are not challenging your muscles to grow.

if you were doing this same activity at level difficult for you, you would be pushing your body harder. the resistance or higher gear on the bike will develop your muscles while also burning calories.

The amount of muscle building as a result of doing cardio would depend on how active you were prior to starting you new regimen. If you were relatively sedentary before, even cardio will cause some muscle gain. Also depends on the intensity level as stated by the previous poster.
