Ok,

I'm a regular on the HBP board because I'm going through my typical HBP spike. I think I'm bringing it on to myself because I have been having these dizzy spells. Every symptom on this menopause board leads me to the conclusion that I have perimenopause. Does this cause dizziness too and I know that with perimenopause, your chances of developing heart disease greatens. I'm just seeing if this is a correlation between dizziness and my HBP or the perimenopause (which I'm going to the GYN on the 30th).

Your help will be appreciated!

There are too many variables of what it can be. It could be my BP, BP meds, perimenopause. I've got to start ruling things out. I started having dizzy spells last at the Eagles concert and have had a few here and there. I took my BP after one dizzy spell and it was 155/100. I think I scared my BP up to that limit. I took my chlonidine and I am somewhat back to normal 117/86. So I don't know. My BP tends to spike everytime I don't have my periods. I'm not sure if the BP goes up because of the anxiety, lack of sleep, hot flashes, dizziness.

So what do you all think?
