I have read many posts that lead me to suspect that I might have fungal sinusitis. I have chronic sinusitis, pnd, headaches, fatigue, general/all-over weakness and muscle pain, unexplained weight loss, nausea, loss of concentration. Saw my regular dr; blood work was fine. I suspect that he thinks I am a hypochon....
Yet, many other people on these boards have the exact same symptoms. I am seeing an ENT for my patulous Eustachian tubes in November. I have read some posts wherein people write about their pH levels and flora, etc.
Is this something that is done normally during a regular visit to one's primary dr?
Any info greatly appreciated. Tired of feeling like death warmed over. I used to be a very, very healthy person. Also suspect some kind of fungus/sinus connection.

Have you been using steriod type nose sprays such as Flonase, Beconase or other? If so, then there is a chance of having fungus in sinuses and/or lungs.
Is there a way you can see the ENT sooner?

I have tried the sprays you mentioned but I could not tolerate them. Frequent nosebleeds made these sprays impossible to keep using. I just called my ENT. Waiting for a reply. Do you know what pH level testing is or flora/fauna?
