Ask your doctor about this condition. Or look it up in a medical book. I have a friend that has it. luckyhope 11-26-2005, 02:29 PM I too suffered from bad breath for a good five years. What I had to do was change my diet to one that was less protien. Any high protien low carb diet will cause bad breath for anyone and everyone. Then I went to the dentist which was something I hadn't done for a while and they said I had impacted wisdom teeth that was causing bacteria and food particles to get stuck and me not being able to clean them well caused very strong offensive breath as well and my gingivitis. I am now going to get a scaling on monday. Lots of people talk about post nasal drip but I really doubt that that alone will cause bad breath. I would advise you too attack it in every single area from the inside out. Use great oral hygene products I don't really suggest the over the counter stuff. Change your diet. Take a probiotic I like culturelle. They also have probiotic mouthwashes now. I just ordered the thera breath activ k12. But first and foremost you need to see a dentist and make sure you don't have any dental problems that could be causing the problem because for me that was much of the problem. I still suffer from bad breath but it is way better than it was before I removed my wisdom teeth and I feel that getting the scaling on moday will solve the rest of the problem. Also taking a probiotic like culturelle will help digestive problems like acid refux and irritable bowel. |
