Hi I am new to the board and have a question. At night i snore in and out and constantly wake up on my own or my husband does because i wake him up. also in the day time i am short of breath. Does this sound like a sleep problem or asthma? some psychiatrist tells me that i sound like sleep apnea and to get checked. by the way i have bpII. and he was gonna prescribe me something for sleep until we talked about my unusual snoring. thank you for any answers on this.

It could be either one, or some combination of both. Snoring and sleep apnea are often (but not always) related.
It is incredibly important to have consistent and adequate amounts of sleep when you are trying to manage bi-polar disorder. If you do have a sleep disorder, getting it treated should be a great help to you.
Good luck.
