I have a sinus infection, I feel like I'm almost over it. Have been on Levaquin for 6 days and have 4 more to go. In the upper-back right side, in between the last and second to last tooth it is a bit swollen and hurts a bit when I bite down. Could there be and any connection to the infection and should I have it looked at? thanks in advance!

I'm having a similar issue (no swelling) and would be interested in knowing. I mentioned it to my OB (currently preggers) and she said it wasn't a problem, but then again...she's not a dentist. I've been told sinus infections can cause tooth aches, but don't know how accurate this is.

Yes they can cause teeth problems, I have chronic sinusitus, and along with it my teeth hurt, I think somehow it presses on a nerve...or maybe the infection spreads into the gums or something.

In my mouth I have an immediate placed denture device that is held in place with implants. But lately I have really been hurting. But inside my mouth the gums are healthy and pink and no pain but the pain has been in my face, ears and jaws.
Went to the Doctor and I guess I have a really bad sinus infection. I am on a antibiotic that is very strong and very expensive but gheesh it has awful side affects. It gives me insomnia, headaches, my joints ache like I have the flu and it makes me nauseous. I do not know what to do. I do daycare in my home and the bottle says possible drowsiness or dizzyness so I have been taking it before bed. (only 1 a day) But I was awake last night from 1 o'clock on and began getting children at 5 this morning. I am a zombie.
