Sponsor girlygirly 07-02-2003, 11:16 AM Do you really think that the answer is in a pill? Of course they are not going work. Diet pills are not about nutrition. You need to eat whole foods, avoid anything processed and/or white. Diet is a lifestyle change. It means that you must eat the same way for the rest of your life, not short term to lose a few pounds. You need to exercise for 2 reasons 1) overall good health 2) it reduces stress. Why would you want to be on a diet that has you use pills that are usually unsafe to begin with? I don't get that. Also why would you not want to exercise? It seems that many people want to find an easy way out, well there isn't one sorry to say. Kimdoc 07-29-2003, 08:13 PM I became very sick when I tried it. I only took 2 pills (over 2 days) and was sick in bed (or should I say the bathroom) for 3 days. I was so sick to my stomach. I would never recommend these types of pills to anyone. You need to do it the right way and change the way you eat to a more healthy lifestyle. susiejb 07-29-2003, 09:34 PM I take Xenadrine EFX along with exercise and eating right (I don't like to call it dieting). It's been years since I've been below 140 lbs., but as long as I take Xen EFX every day (start out 2per day, go to 4), I stay below 140. I ran out of them and didn't take any for about 3wks. without changing anything else, and went right back up to 145. Started taking them again, back down to 138. I think it raises my metabolism just enought to keep me where my body is intended to be. Waterweight? Maybe. But I definitely see a difference in my body. Gives me energy too. ------------------ Susie Mystery_00 07-30-2003, 01:30 PM if you read the articles like in 'oxygen' magazine for example, that advertises hydroxycut, you can see the before and after pics, but if you read more about it, its alot of exercising and watching what you eat. hydroxycut didnt do anything for me but take a big bite out of my checking acct! originalsusie 08-03-2003, 03:05 PM No - don't even waste your money. They dont work - if they made pills that did work they would not be selling them for $19.95. Diet and workout is the only way - sorry. Find an exercise program you enjoy and try to avoid the really fatty / high cal foods and smaller portions... its cheaper and it works. Stay strong.. I hope I helped. Susie* Peter Parker 08-05-2003, 07:23 AM Dieting and exercising is what makes you loose weight. What Hydroxicut does is making the exercising easier by stimulating the nervous system. It makes you feel in the mood of exercising when your energy level is actually low due to the diet. In conclusion, this product helps but you still have to diet and exercise. You just suffer less. howie 08-05-2003, 09:31 PM From my experience, I have to say yes these pills work great. They will work extremely well with a good diet and excercise. The only thing is, the body will solely depend on these pills. So when the person is ready to stop using it, he/or she will gain weight quickly without it. Go natural! |
