Hi, I have had Chronic Migraine Disorder for 12 years now. I have migraines
everyday. But I was in a headache institute once in Michigan where there
was two patients that had reoccurring headache from car wrecks. You need
to have a MRI done. Because they cant tell much from a cat scan anymore,
so and MRI is the best test done. Then some I know of people who have
had pain blocks in their necks which caused headache. That could be a
problem of your also. But you need the test to rule out the reason. Do you
have a headace and pain clinic in your area? Kim

I was in car wreck and got double whiplash in 1997. I now suffer from cervicogenic headaches and migraines. If you type the words ‘cervicogenic headaches’ in to a search engine it will explain the symptoms. Mine is directly related to the accident. I had an MRI done a couple years after the accident and nothing shows up on these types of headaches. I have arthritis from the injury in my neck. (Which shows up on x-ray) It pinches the nerves and causes constant daily headaches. Definitely something to look into! Mine was diagnosed with physical therapy and injections. Good luck!

Drew,
What do you do for your pain. I have been dealing with this since 1987. I have had three neck injuries and have tried Chiropractors, p.t. ice, heat, muscle stem, tens units. different pain meds. Nothing seems to help. It becomes unbearable at times. I end up at ER for a shot to knock me and the pain out. Winter is the worst. I have neck pain, spasms in right shoulder blade and terrible headaches. I am good for nothing when this happens. How do you deal with it?

Thanks,
Theresa
