ok heres the deal about 2 years ago i was diagnosed with ringworm on my penis, took the medication as directed and it went away. last year about this time i had a red rash with defined raised borders again on my penis in the same location. i went to the dr. they ran all tests for stds and they came back negative at the time they prescribed ketaconozole to be applied cause they said it was a fungal infection. it looked as if it ceased a bit then came back around january of this year. i went back to the dr. and they ran std test again and they were all negative once again. they prescribed me once again with ketoconozole. it seemed as if it were getting better once again then looked as if it were spreading now it goes around the shaft of penis right below the head and there are spots on my head of my penis. i went back to the docotr once again they did test and came back negative so i went to a different dr. and was checked out. she said same thing it looked to be fungal and prescribed me lamasil tablets. i took these for two months it seemed as to be clearing up then stopped and looked to be coming back once again. ok the symptons are that of a red rash with defined borders with a clear skin color center, it gets dry sometimes and turns a flaky white color on the border edges, it doesnt really itch but gets irritated very easily(annoying as hell) i have taken all the lamisil tablets and also put lamisil cream on the areas. i am stumped on what this could be if anyone could help that would be great.

Mineedinfo,
Fungal infestions are hard to kill. What kind of doctor do you go too? I would see a Dermatologist MD that specializes in skin problems.
It sounds like what you have been doing so far, has not worked! I would call in the big guns, now, and see the dermatologist, soon.

what else is there i was told lamasil is the strongest medication for fungal infections, i am confused about what else it could be. could it possibly be a yeast infection or something. have no idea what one looks like on a males penis.
