View Full Version : I've always thought I was anemic..

Ever since I was little, I've always had the symptoms of anemia. Tiredness, always being cold, weak & tired, sleeps alot, depression, dizziness (has been pretty bad the past few months though), shortness of breath, confusion, and fast heart beats at times, & anxiety.

What do you think? Should I go and get a blood test done to see if I am or not? =\ I got a blood test done the other day, but that was to check my WBC.. so they probably couldn't see that I'm anemic from that, right?

Plus, I don't eat meat so I definetly lack iron & VitaminB12. I'm starting to take Equate vitamins, which has a good bit of Iron & VB12 along with many other good nutrients. Should I take them with breakfast or before I go to bed? (I'm not sure how long they usually take to..dissolve, I guess.)

If I was anemic.. Would that cause any type of swelling? 'Cause my neck is a little swollen & the Dr. said it's not my thyroid.. so I was just curious? =\

I'd appreciate any help or advice. Thanks :)
