There is something I am curious about. I really would like to check out the testosterone patch. I don't have near the sex drive I did when I was younger. The thing is if I get the patch and have more sex drive do I want to do that I am 49. My husband is 53 he doesn't have as much sex drive now. And truthfully I think he has a problem with ability to function. I have brought it up to him and have finally decided not to push the issue. He seems hesitant to talk about it. He had his testosterone checked through a blood test and was told it was in the normal range for a man his age.
Has anyone using testosterone that helped their libido had a mismatch then with their husband. Those that have a husband/lover in the 53 age range did you experience a problem with the male having low drive or performance problems. I hope this doesn't offend anyone. I have been wondering about this. I don't have friends that I can bring this up to. thanks Linda

My DH is 17 years older than me...he turned 65 and June. Zero problems with performance though I do notice desire is less but still there....but that could partly be due to the fact that we're going on 13 years of marriage, LOL.
I have to say, my whole life, I have had a HUGE sex drive. Now in my late 40's, there are months I could care less about it and I have to say it is such a blessing. It is wonderful not to be so preoccupied with it. Of course, there are months were I am like I was in my 20's...poor DH.
I thought about asking for a testosterone test but figure if DH isn't complaining and I finally am thinking about more than just sex....let sleeping dogs lay (for me anyway).
