I have 4 full days in a row and now this is 1/2 way through day number five of no smoking. I'm very uneasy today and just want to stay inside my home. I HATE cigarrettes and wish I never started.
I just have to make sure I never forget these last few days of misery so in a few months I don't forget and I casually bum a smoke from someone leading me right back at the starting point!!
How many days 'till you feel better physically?
Thanks,
Dave

I'll echo that sentiment keep it up!!! I felt quite rough for around 2 weeks, the third week was a heck of a lot easier and the fourth I've hardly craved at all. It is worth it, I too wish I'd never started but I will never smoke again.
Best of luck. :D

Man thanks for the support. Today is Day #6 and while its still tough I think its ever so slightly easier (wait, I should say less difficult.....no way to use the word "easy" when talking about this.
I have never been more determined about anything. I will not smoke.
Thanks again,
Dave
p.s. I won't put an update EVERY day, but maybe once a week. It seems to help me and I might even be helping someone else as well.

There Dave... with that said, you will succeed! Keep up the good work. No, it's not easy, but does anything worthwhile come easy? :nono: I don't think so! It took me at least 10 tries to quit for keeps, and next Saturday, I can proudly say I've been smoke free for 2 years! Hang in there, every week gets a bit easier, and say, after a month, things will be going a little smoother for you. You have to be patient, for sure. At this point, I rarely have a crave, and if I do, it's so fleeting, just a few secs. I hate smoking so bad today, with a vengence!!! When I go to casinos, I stay as far away from smokers as I can! They really irritate me, but I have to remind myself that I used to be just like them! :nono: They probably want to quit too.
Yes, keep posting...it does help others. :)
Good luck!

i think the worst thing you can do is stay home when quit smoking, i didnt leave my house for one week, and the day I went out, I started smoking, I found to quit smoking you gotta go about your normal routine, even if you feel like crap, its the only way to break the habits of smoking weve all built up over the years, then when you start to think....how can I go to work without smoking on my break....you can say....I didnt smoke on my break yesterday and it wasnt that bad.....anyone know what im talking about? or is the withdrawl making me type nonsense???
