I really don't like them because they feel very uncomfortable and like they're going to fall out. I've never actually used one, just had it in before I pulled it out because of the way it feels. I was wondering if this was normal for the first times, until I get used to it, or am I just doing it wrong? I've tried to use the directions it gives in the box, but it doesn't work. Thank you!

If it feels like it's coming out...you don't have it in far enough. if you get it in enough it won't feel that way. You shouldn't be able to feel it in there...I don't like them myself. I don't think they're good for you. But I did wear them when I was young er......lol...if you want to wear them, you can get used to it....

Or try inserting one on your heaviest days .. natural lubricant and all that ..
You can also try a lubricant on the vulval folds before insertion .. and above all RELAX .. it's ok.
We all have our favourites .. my period flow is so heavy that I have resorted to 2 tampons and a super pad just to get through 2 hours during the day ... not an easy task...
Just calm down about the whole deal .. and if they're not for you, then they're not for you .. that's ok too.
Cheers

My daughter started out with the same problem, she found she could get the ones called "slimfits' to work, now she has graduated to the supers. Go smaller at first till you get the hang of it, she said it's easier when the flow is heavier, don't worry about sticking it up too far, there is a string..also, wear a light days pad so you know when to change it. Try it on a day when your not too rushed. I couldn't wear them myself.

My first couple times trying to put a tampon it was horrible...it did feel like it would come out. my suggestion, when you are in the bathroom, put one foot one the toilet, and one on the ground and try to insert it that way, it helped me. It opens up the hole a little more. also, you can never push it too far in...
