My eyes have been twitching for 12 hours straight.
I don't know what's wrong with them, and now I am losing the feeling in my face. I don't know what's wrong with me. I'm really worried and probably being overdramatic but I'm going to the ER.

Edited to add: It's from my eyeballs, down to my mouth and goes across from ears to my nose. It started on my left side and is now on my right but not as much. It's not the typical "tingeling" Topamax is known for (I'm on 100mg of Topamax), its full out numbess.

Im glad you are going to the ER. This might be side effects from meds or it could be feeling you get of a siezure coming on. Often before a major seizure coming I tend to get a lot of light headed feelings

Best of luck to you
Ethan

Back from the ER! And it only took an hour and a half!
They decided it was from the Topamax, afterall. Better safe than sorry, though right? Unfortunately my face is still numb and my eyes are still twitching! :(
They said it's "paresthesia"- which I think is a fancy word for tingles. And they gave me a sedative to sleep tonight. Not that I need to be sedated, but because the eye twitching is so bad that I can't even rest properly. They gave me prescription for it incase it keeps happening
They want me to make an appt to see my Neuro because they think my Topamax needs to be adjusted. I don't know if it needs to go up or down though because I just had it go up a month ago because I was just a dosage that was too low for me. This one (I'm only at 100mg) seemed fine until now... I've noticed a little that I'm KIND OF starting to get my auras again, but not exactly how I used to.

Parasthesias can include numbness and tingling and basically any sensation that isn't "normal"....glad you got it checked out. Hope the neuro gets the dose fixed up, so the side effects aren't as frightening. Keep us posted :)
