I had a total hip replacement 7 years ago and continue to hike, bike, and ski like crazy ( I'm an extreme skier). I'm now faced with a total knee. Does anyone know are there more limitations to a total knee?? I know what the hip limitations were/are and am ok with those.. I'm 47 and obviously in pretty good shape.

sorry Mtnskier, I think we are mostly hippies here!! From what I have heard it is a little harder recovering from TKR, but I would bet you will do fine.

did you get a chance to read my question to you under the running thread??
