In Case of Emergency (ICE) is becoming every day more and more popular among those who would like to gain back some peace of mind.
Here is my suggestion:

Hello,
I do agree this is a good system. In Case of Emergency or ICE, the ambulance or even police, or whomever reaches you first telephones the person listed on your cell/mobile (obviously if you don't have a contact who has a cell/mobile then a land line telephone) using the reference ICE. They can then get all relevant medical details from the contact.
I agree you need to keep your records updated and ensure that the person(s) who are going to be your ICE contact(s) are kept up to date of any changes in your drugs or treatments.

Your suggestion is excellent goldenwings.
I think ICE is a great start! Having data in your Cell is excellent.
I think you need to carry a mini record with you and label it ICE too.
More often than not, the only way emergency room doctors will know your health history in such a quick manner is if you provide it.
