Last year my gall bladder and part of my liver had to be removed (as my gall bladder was situated in my liver). That was in March 2002. From Nov 2002 I have been having acute dizzy spells - floor moving stuff! I recently went on a detox and after 3 days re-introduced fruit. Immediately all the dizziness came back with the pains in my chest. I now realize whenever I eat something with sugar in it I get these same symptoms - however I have now got these same symptoms when I have been eating non sugar things like baked beans, beef pie, pasta with tomato sauce etc. Again I feel dizzy after eating and now I get dizzy when I don't eat. The Doctor wants me to have a MIR scan (which I will have in October 2003 to discount MS). I have been tested for but don't have diabetes (was given a dip test in some urine)- is what I am going through normal with gall bladder removal and are these symptoms something to do with that? I also get occasional numbness in my toes and hand that whilst not painful do last for about 2-3 days. In the three minutes with my doctor who under the National Health in the UK does not inspire my confidence (it took them 3 years to realise I needed my gall bladder removing). This means my confidence in the NHS/Doctors is at a big low - I am also worried about these current symptoms I am going through - what can you suggest could be the cause of them – any suggestions where I should delve into specialist examination would be much appreciated?
