View Full Version : suggestions?

Hi all,

I've pretty much ignored my weight (200+) until recently, now that it has been actually affecting my health. My breast size makes my shoulders hurt. Walking for so long makes my feet throb. And my knees have been hurting so bad that when I get up from a sitting position, I have to have leverage with my arms or they'll cry out in pain.

I've decided I'm going to exercise.

Now I'm looking into products that will make exercising easier. I'd love suggestions.

For example, I heard about the Oprah-recommended Enell bra for larger women (http://www.enell.com/) - "The closest thing to leaving them at home!" Gosh, that sounds fabulous.

But I'm really stuck on what kind of shoes to buy. The ones I have are these - http://www.spirafootwear.com/products_walking.html - but I'd never recommend them, because I think they're actually contributing to the problems with my knees. My favorite exercise ever is Dance Dance Revolution, which involves a lot of jumping. :bouncing: (That - and the reason I need Enell - is why I stopped playing a long time ago.) Does anyone know of some shoes that have extra soft and thick cushioning that works for... us? You know, shoes that you luxuriate in, rather than limp around in?

Looking forward to getting this going! Thanks.
