If you use xenical as a diet support, do you have to take it every day?
For instance, if you don't take it a day or two, do the effects of the pill wear off quickly?
And, if you are diet perfect, will you STILL have side effects? I see gas listed as an effect of the pill. Will you have that gas, even if you are eating a perfect low fat diet?
Thanks for any help.
I'm considering trying this and would like to understand a bit more.

Hi Seek,
I've have been taking it for a close to a month now. Well to be honest 2 months, but there was three weeks (my father passed away) that I didn't follow it at all. So on Sept 5 I restarted taking it. I was not going to step on the scale until Oct 5, but the better of me got to me. I weighed myself today and so far I have lost 10 lbs. I consider this really good, being that I am on my third day of my cycle. To answer your question, during the week I try my best to keep to the 30mg of fat a day, and I have not had any major or embarassing side effects. It maybe a little noisy (gas) in the bathroom, but I don't care as long as it working. On the weekends I may eat something a little fattier then I should without taking the pill and trust me there is still enough Xenical in my system to feel it working. I still see the orange oil in the toilet. Hope this helps!! If you do start taking Xenical, please keep me posted. There aren't too many people on this board that takes it. I would really like to share experiences.
Good Luck

Dega:
Thank you for the information.
That's my main concern. I'm willing (actually want) the problems if I don't follow the correct diet. But I do not want to have to put up with having the problems if I am eating correctly. In fact, I would just quit the drug.
I go to my doctor on Monday to discuss this. I'm only wanting to try it for one month.
I would be thrilled with a 10 pound loss since Sept. 5! I think that's fantastic.
:bouncing:
And if I try this drug I will definitely let you know what I think.
Keep going! It's not easy but so worth it.
