I'm a 37 y.o. male, respiratory and skin allergies galore, and had Mono 4 years ago. Once or twice each year since having Mono i'll wake up in the middle of the night to urinate and start to get a sharpshooting pain in what seems to be the rectum area (maybe prostate?), develop shortness of breath, dizziness, incredible weakness, and sweating PROFUSELY from every pore in my body. These episodes take about 15-20 minutes to pass and then the next day i'm totally wiped out.

Recently had a physical (everything is ok); no epilepsy; nothing eaten out of the ordinary.

Has anyone experienced anything like this????

Wouldn't this seem like some type of nervous system response to something?

The only thing I can think of is Epstein Barr Syndrome that peaks out from time to time for whatever reason.

Any ideas? (please!!) - thank you!
