hello, i was wondering if my diet is good for what im doing (i go to the gym and train with weights mostly), and i want to gain muscle without too much fat.
diet:
breakfast: tea, yoghourt, cereals (cornflakes with some cocoa on them), a couple of slices of bread
lunch: veggetables soup (a lot of them chopped in little pieces), and i chose betwen meat/fish/poultry with smashed potatoes or something like that, also a banana afterwards
afternoon(2hs b4 going to the gym):the same as morning
dinner: the same as lunch but sometimes i have canned tuna, pasta, or rice, etc so as not to get bored, and a banana
i only drink water or yoghurt
hope you can tell if this is correct for the goals i have
tnx

Just glancing at it I would think that the number of calories is about 1500 - 1600. Which is OK - though a bit more woul dbe better, bbut I can't tell without knowing your height and weight.

Unfortunately it seems most of your calories come from refined/simple carbs (cornflakes, bread, potatoes, pasta)
Make sure you're eating the brown/wholewheat version of those and not too many potatoes.

Another thing that jumps out is that you're not getting nearly enough fruits and veg. 2 bananas and some veggie soup is just not going to cut it.

oh, i forgot, i did the math for how many calories i have p/day and i got btw 2000-2500 but like i said the diet is not a fixed thing that wont variate, coz during the day i have like 5 or 6 small meals but they also consist of the same things so i wont repeat that...
