Man will meet robot tommarrow at 7:00 am. Pre - Admin testing all done. Getting ready to drink to liquid plumber. Last minute thoughts: Negative margins, final Gleeson, how long before urinary control, should I update my will.

Good luck and I'll keep you in my prayers. Definitely praying for the negative margins, nodes, vesicles and ducts, clean nerve sparing, and a Gleason no higher than they've given you now.

Don't worry about the urinary control until the catheter comes out....I'm 8 weeks post open RRP and having trouble urinating more than a dribble....but I'm more worried about the first post-op PSA test I just had coming back undetectable....once I get those results I can turn full attention to peein' better.

If they get all the cancer out the rest is gravy. It's a good omen you're having your surgery during prostate cancer awareness week.

God bless you and your family.

Best of everything to you azguy ... personally I think you made a great choice in the Robot!! I'd be willing to wager that everything you (and the rest of us) are praying for will be the case come post-op time. Like James said ... just concentrate on getting the BEAST  outta of there and the rest will take care of itself. I am 4+ months post-robot and my last PSA was a nice undetectable .01.

Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers tomorrow....

We wish you all the best. You have made it through the hard part of waiting until the surgery date is here. My husband had his robo visit on 8/15. He feels very good. You will note that each day after the surgery things begin to improve. We hope the same is true for you. Please keep us up to date as you can. We are here to help you in any way that we can.

Just go do it and get it behind you. Then on to the next chapter of this.

Keep positive.

Our prayers are with you!!

hope everything came out ok. Things may be a little rough in the begining but it will improve. My husband had the robot over 4 months ago and he is back to himself .He looks good and no problem with the urination at all. The other matter hasnt improved but it didnt work too good before. He going for the injections and viagra every nite. But the pest part is his psa is 0. I'll take that. Hope your surgery went well and just think positive. keep in touch
