30 lbs in 2 months is a LOT of weight to lose.

The only way to do that is to go an an extreme fad diet.

But, of course, you will be damaging your health.

and ... you will pick up the weight again afterwards.

I have lost 45 lbs in 6 weeks. using a low carb diet and taking HYDROXYCUT (ephedra free). Took all my junk food to work and gave it away. I am a junk food junky. now in the 6th week I have bought some weights and a few other things to go with my treadmill that will help me work out. I need to lose around 25-30 more lbs. I was 280 and never knew it. changing how you eat is the KEY.

I lost .64 pounds per day on average, for 1 month. Before that it was appx. the same pace, but i didn't track it as accurately-- but i'm pretty sure i sustained .5 pounds per day for nearly 3 months.

I don't know if just anyone can do it, but it's possible. I eat mostly protein and of course fruits, veggies, and fish. Appx. 1800 calorie deficit every day is maintained-- requiring me to eat at least 7 meals per day, including one in the middle of the night to prevent catabolism. I actually formulated a casein/peanut butter/soy milk solution to avoid having to get up in the middle of the night; the mixture takes over 7 hours to fully absorb.

Careful diet and excercise planning is required. Eating the correct portion of protein/carbs/fats is also necessary. My body is very content with the ratio 50/35/15 protein/carbs/fats. Pretty much all carbs are taken in before 4PM, and all fats are taken in with the protein shakes, fish/meat, and peanut butter. It takes a while to determine how your body responds to different things.

Oh and you also need the correct supplements, because it's near impossible to get enough nutrients and fats in your diet- I take extra fish oil, a multivitamin, and a few other vitamins form fit to my particular diet/body/excercise habbits.

I have lost 45 pounds in 3 months before..it became fairly easy once I got in the hang of it, now I look back and realized I was only eating about 700 calories a day and exercising for 1 hr + each day, running, swimming a mile, etc. I don't know how I did it but I felt fine with the little amt. of calories I was getting, and my health is fine. I wasn't hungry either, but I would just eat like a rice cake and diet coke for breakfast and lunch then a diet tv dinner for dinner w/ some diet soda--borderline anorexic I know it sounds like! That was a year ago though, since I have started eating normal foods and cut back on the exercising I have gained some back and am working to lose it again! lol-good luck! http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

I lost 67lbs in 2 and half months, as you can tell not a very healhly way but it worked. I would eat only one meal a day, and it would have to be under 500 cals and under 5 grams of fat. I walked on my treadmill for a hour a day everyday. After about a week or so this become ease because my body got use to the way I was eating and I was never hungry. I eat alot of frozen meals, like WW and HC. I smoked then and I beleve it was alot easier because of that. I did gain back all my weight plus some but I don't think it was because of the way I went about losing. I had my daughter and was working on take the extra off on that then I quit smoking, had a really hard time with it.

oceanstatekelly, I would have to say that you probably did gain the weight back because of the way you lost it.

Fast weight loss is not only unhealthy but it is also no way to build permanent eating habits.
