I am freaking out. Had a pap with ACS results 3 months back. Repeated pap has AGC (glandular) which I understand can indicate endometrial cancer. I am 46 and have had more frequent, yet light and not at all bothersome, periods for the last 18 months or so which my doctor attributed to perimenopause. Blood tests support that I am there. Went to gyno today for endometrial biopsy and that other test they do following bad paps but am scared to death. No other risks for this type of cancer but feel like my worst fears are being realized. Wishing I hadn't listened to the doc originally and pursued more aggressively. Any positive responses out there?
