View Full Version : Headache Plus Strange Symptoms

I have been a migraine sufferer for 11 years now. I had a terrible migraine from Monday-Thursday. None of my prescriptions (Axert, Relpax) worked. I went to urgent care and got a shot of Toradol and some nausea medicine. That helped a bit. Friday was okay, but I have a headache again today (Saturday) although not nearly as strong, it is my usual daily headache. Around noon today, I felt very faint and my hands started trembling. I have been incredibly tired all day, despite getting sufficient sleep last night.

Headache pain, shaky hands, extreme fatigue... do these add up to anything unusual? Oh, I and I also have been having pain about two inches past my wrists in my forearms; it almost feels like my veins are swollen, very painful - this comes and goes about twice a week. I don't know if this is related.

I am going to a headache clinic in October, and don't have much time in my schedule to see a specialist before then. Please fill me in your ideas.

Do a Google search & read up on migraine triggers.

Also, between now & your appt in Oct keep a Headache Diary & take it with you to your appt. This will help the doctor & you.
