in december of this past year, my ex-boyfriend's best friend committed suicide. i helped my ex to deal with things for a few months, but he eventually just got really angry, broke up with me, and pushed me away. i know he hasn't even begun to deal with any of the feelings of losing a best friend.

i've told him i want to be there for him and talk to him but he flat-out refuses. is there anything else i can do, or do i just continue to let him heal in his own time and leave him alone?

Hi there Scared:)

Sorry noone has replied yet and I am no expert what-so-ever....but, for what it is worth, my opinion is that you're doing a great job just letting him know how much you care and want to be there for him. Atleast he will know you will be there for him when he needs you. I wish I had the answer for you and I feel bad. I wish you and your ex the best of luck. Take care.
~Peace~
