Hi everyone,
I am 25 yr old female, just had a baby 2 months ago. About a week ago i got a terrible head cold that lasted about 3 days--I still have a stuffed up nose. Well I have been getting these terrible headaches, like I have never felt before. It starts in my forehead and wraps around the back of my head , sometimes it feels like it is in my ears also, and my gums ache --but not always with this headache. I take tylenol but it doesnt help it, also tried IBprofren and it does a little to take away the pain. it seems if i lay down it will subside until i start moving around and doing things. The back of my head also hurts a little when i push on it, feels like a pressure thing. this has been going on for about 4 days now.

Now I had that cold, and I have been using nasal spray for over a year now =/ I am addicted it seems. Also have been through A LOT of stress, my baby was preemie, 2 weeks in nicu, I get about 2 hrs of sleep a night, my father-in-law just passed away last sunday. I sleep on the couch with my baby most of the night. ( for about 2-3 hrs i get sleep)

I also have panic attacks, so I am a little less inclined to go to the docs until i see some opinions..they blame everythign on anxiety. I am very worried this is a tumor, but mom said i would KNOW and this wouldnt have been goign on for 4 days now--i think she just tries to make me feel better.

Well thanks for listening and thanks for any advice.

I sleep on the couch with my baby most of the night.
Why?
Why isn't the baby daddy (your husband?) helping you out here?
<rant>I don't want to hear "because he has to work" story either because that is no excuse. So what? <end of rant>

If over the counter meds are not working then I suggest that you see a doctor. You probably need something stronger (prescription meds).
Are you seeing a Neurologist that specializes in headaches and/or migraines? That is who you need to be seeing.

Congrats on the new baby. Boy or girl?

I go to the docs for a lot of different things because of my anxiety, i was just wondering if anyone has experienced this type of headache, and if it was a tumor or something less serious.

Thanks! She is a girl, she is 10 weeks old. Hehe here comes what you dont want to hear, he works 40 hrs and goes to college, he is gone most days from 530 am till 10 pm. i know thats no excuse, but .....=(

So if anyone else has any advice it would be greatly appreciated! =)
