Hello all,

Not been on here a while , so hello nice people.
Been extremly unwell the last few weeks just about getting over it i think.
Worst headaches of my life , and breathing problems again. im considering a spinal tap incase there is pseudo tumorous cerebri going on. anyhow thats not really why i came on here. I woke up a couple of mornings ago severly bleeding from down below. i woke up in a sweat and blood poured out in the toilet. i was feeling very woozy. bleeding continued into pad and through my nickers. went to a and e again . thought it might me a urine tract infection gave me antibiotics. i said i did not want to take them as i have been having huge allergies to antibiotics. a second doctor saw me and detected pain in my ovaries and kidneys. so he has given me follow ultra sound of kidneys/ ovaries and bladder for about a weeks time. I got tested again the next day with my urine and there was absolutely no sign of infection at all so im glad i did not take the anti biotics. they could not say why i was bleeding i only had my period two weeks ago anyhow. and it was a sudden severe bleed.
One intersting tests coming up are my urine tests. i have had protein and blood in my urine for some weeks now and protein for over a year. Sometimes i have + protein but recently i have had the blood there although i did not see any before this bleed. and i have had white cells popping up and ketones. In the last few days i have had ++++ protein in my urine and ++++ blood. Any advice on where to go from here? seeing my doc tomorrow still not diagnosed appointment at the lupus clinic not until dec??

Oh and ps my left leg became completly paralysed three days ago the pain went from the kidney it felt to the leg. and another funny thing my bloody was all funny and sticky when they were trying to take it from me the other day it would not go through the needle properly. Any tests worth asking my doc for? i thought about porphyria and lupus patients can have it i think
Love zoe x

Hi, Zorn. Do you know about antiphospholiid syndrome = Hughes's syndrome = "sticky blood syndrome"? It's a clotting disorder seen in lupus or seen standalone (without lupus), and it can cause some pretty nasty havoc.

Look at the "sticky" by AngelicBrat at the front of the board. I hope you post again soon with your reaction, etc. All my best, Vee

Hi Zoe, I am glad to see some posts from you... thought you had disappeared. I have no answers for you; just wanted to check in. Sorry you have not been doing well. I am definitely not doing well either. I have an appointment with a gastroenterologist in a week and I hope I will get some answers then. You have to wait until Dec to see a lupus specialist???
