Does anyone know if it's ok to have a root canal when you have a cold and sore throat? Hubby is scheduled for a root canal Thurs and has been on antibiotics (prescribed by the dentist) for a total of 10 days. He called the dentist office and they said it was ok. I was under the impression that dental work should be postponed if a person had cold symptoms. Thanks for your help.
