Hi...

Firstly, I was not sure where to post this topic, so as it is to do with my head, I thought this was the best place.

Here goes...

2 years ago, I banged my forehead quite severely, I did not lose conciousness or anything, and it did not hurt. The next day I had a large bump that seemed to be filled with fluid of some sort.It didnt hurt then, and nor was it badly bruised. When the bump went away (approx a week and half later) I was left with a dent in my forehead, which remains to this day. If I sort of tilt my head back and look at it in the mirror, I can see that the right side of my forehead is visibly more raised than the left side. I went to see my doctor about this, and he told me it was nothing to worry about.

Anyhow, in about April this year, the top of my right outer leg went numb. I went to the local hospital convinced it was something serious, but I was told I may of trapped a nerve in my groin. After about a month the numbness went.

Then around 6 weeks ago, I started experiencing weird kind of pins and needles sensations in the right side of my head. I am unable to distinguish whether the feeling is on my scalp or on my skull. I also sometimes get like a cold/burning feeling where the dent in my forehead is too. Its really annoying and feels like the skin on my head is literally crawling.

Sometimes my neck aches too, but on the the left hand side.

I am beginning to wonder if all these ailments are connected in some way.And I am covinced there is something wrong in my head somewhere, which is just getting me down in general.

If anybody has experienced this, or anything like this, please help!

All replies will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Make an appointment to see a Neurologist (one who deals in head injuries) as there are different kinds & explain in detail just like you did in your post.

Hello there!

In reading your post it made me think. Back in July I was at a water park. I hit my head going down the slide. It felt like I had hit a cement block. I didn't lose consciousness but it hurt like hell. I had to put Ice on it and I took 3 Advil immediately. Lately I have noticed that pins and needles feeling in my head on the side that was hurt. It comes and goes. I have a scheduled appointment with my GP on October 27. I will mention it to him and I will let you know what he says. Take Care

Hi, thanks people for taking the time to read this.

I have'nt had time to see a neuroligist as im currently moving house (stress in itself!)

Been feeling a bit better lately, but I would still like to know what your gp says kgsmith. My gp told me he thinks im suffering from a severe case of hypochondria!

Anyway, ill keep checking back.
