Thats a hard call to make ,it would depend on the type of tooth ache you had. I will try and generalize it for you though,if you have an abcess and dont take care of it,it will get into your blood stream and you can feel very sick from it. It will also make the immune system weak and you can be suseptical to other bacteria. also it has been proven that if you have gum disease that can and will play major haveic on your arties to your heart.Hope that helps a little. jonny 11-10-2000, 02:53 PM well that sounds like my problem although i guess i cant say for sure without the first hand opinion of a doctor.it started with a tooth ache a really really bad one on one of my lower molars..hard to say wich one though because all of them hurt really really bad.2 of my teeth ended up dying as a result of this and i had one of them pulled.i was on antibiotics but not for more than 5 days and i dont think it was enough to totally stop the infection because it kept coming back and coming back..so i assume it was in my system because i started having really bad sleeping problems..i couldnt hardly sleep at all.i started to get rashes on my legs.not real bad ones but unusual.i was told that it could be from an infection.since i got the tooth pulled some of the problems have loosened up but not quite all the way..and i do feel my immune system is weakend because i dont get sick much and ive got a cold as we speak.that and the sockets around my teeth where the infection was before get really sore now and again..itll hurt for a day and go away for a couple and be back again just like that..what is the routine for getting rid of such infection if i do have it in my blood? than you for your help i appreciate it. You should see your dentist and have a complete check-up and cleaning let them x-ray all your teeth and get things back to a healthy state. The bacteria in your mouth effects the bacteria in your body too. jonny 11-11-2000, 12:08 PM well thank you ..i really appreciate your responses |
