Hey all,
Quick question - as VN or Labs heals and the fullness in your ears fades, has anyone gotten some slight ringing in the ears? Nothing that ruins your day, but something that comes and goes every so often...3 or 4 times a day...I had an audiology test at the ENT last week and everything came back fine...just wondering if it is a sign of improvement...feels like it...thank god the fullness in my ears is gone...still off balance and foggy though...
Thanks!

Hi
I am vastly improving and have started to get tinnitus quite badly, which I didn't really have at the start. So I would certainly say that (with my experience) its not an indicator that you are getting worse at least.
Lets hope you are showing signs of healing. Have you noticed the off balance being better than it was at the start?
Best wishes

Hey Tesss,.
It has absolutely gotten better...little bouts here and there but it has improved...slow process as we all know. I still feel a little off, kind of foggy, lightheaded but the dizziness has really subsided. The biggest hurdle for me was the nauseau...so glad that it is gone! Probably contributed to that with my anxiety but have a good ENT who is very responsive and caring...makes you feel comfortable. Got back into the gym and lifting harder than I have in 7 weeks...cardio feels great but have to be careful not to push it. Another 2 weeks and I can actually have a beer...didn't miss it for 2 months but I sure could use one!
How are you doing? Symptom wise?
Have a good one,
Sportsfan

I got tinnitus about 6 weeks into this and 9 months later still have it so I'm not sure if that mean you are getting better or not. I hope so. It sounds as if you are getting over this very quickly and should feel very grateful for many people on these boards have been suffering a long time. That is great you are able to exercise that much, I'd watch the alcohol for a while though. People have mentioned on these boards before that they were feeling better and had a beer and wham got worse again.
Please keep us posted if your tinnitus goes away completely. Good luck with your recovery; it sounds like you are on track (I have to admit, I'm a little jealous).
Take care,
Gloria

I got VN back in June, I've noticed noises in my ear at night when I wake up and I also get a clicking sound in ear when I walk, but it's not to bad, I can live with that. Just one thing to be aware of, sometimes out of the blue you may be hit with the dizzyness again, the good thing is that it will only last about a week this time. It hit me again when I went to dentist and had to lay back in chair with head down for an hour. Guess my brain wasn't use to that position since I sleep with my head propped up.
