View Full Version : Bridge Question

Hi Everyone! My question is this: I had had two root canals done on my upper right molar (2nd from the back); altogether this tooth has been a thorn in my side for years...my question is this: on either side of this painful tooth are crowned teeth (I have had a lot of work done on my teeth; I have had lots of crowns put on them...). I am really beginning to doubt that this particular tooth will ever heal; if it doesn't, is it possible for the dentist to fashion a bridge; could a bridge be made without having to cut the crowns off these 2 teeth? I have already spent a lot of money on the two root canals; I am now trying to figure out what best to do...I cannot live forever with this throbbing tooth! Any suggestions I'd appreciate. Sincerely, Debbie

If its a bridge that your interested in ,sorry they would have to cut the crowns off.Have you given any thought to an implant, the cost would be about the same for a bridge and you wouldnt be destroing any good dental work that already exsists

I know of no way to make a bridge with out redoing the crowns on both sides of the missing tooth. Sorry :o( with I had better news.

Jackie
