I have tried those peroxide gels that you put on your teeth then brush off after a few minutes, Rembrandt toothpaste, Ultrabright. I even have a Sonicare (electric) toothbrush. I don't drink much coffee and don't smoke, but I want white teeth. My dentist said he could do the peroxide bleaching for about $100 per tooth.
Any suggestions?

wow are you talking about the procedure to place the perxiode inside your tooth, that very drastic he will have to make a acsess hole into your tooth and place the solution, then after it sits for a week you go back and he has to place a filling if thats what your taking about.I have only seen that done on teeth that have RCT. Have you used any of the kits that you get from your DDS that you do at home. The DDS makes impressions of your teeth and then gives you the solution to take home and use. They are very successful.I have used the same kit for 2 years now, doing touchups every six months. They are not like the stuff you mentioned in your post. You cant get these kits from the drug store only from the DDS.The trays that are made have to be very percise.Ask him about this option before youhave the perxiode treatment done. The cost of this kit veries but shouldnt cost anymore the 250.00 and it last a long time ,but then when you do run out of solution you already have the trays you just need to purchase the solution.

I don't know if this is long term, but my boyfriend got these whitestrips from crest or colgate or someplace like that. You can only order them online..they cost $50, but they seem to work wonders. He's not a smoker or coffee drinker, but just basic yellowing of the teeth.

Just check out the websites for crest, I'm almost positive it's crest.

Good Luck!
