Hi Bonnie I had a root canal done on my front tooth 1 year ago after a crown was replaced. Pain was worse after root canal. Went back to endodontist who was unhelpful. Said nothing was wrong that he could tell but that I should pull the tooth if it hurts that much. and gave me a very painful shot in my gum to numb it until I could get it pulled. SInce he said nothing was wrong with it I did not pull it, went to another dentist from my hometown who said to wait to pull and eventually pain got better, However I have pain and numbness and a tight feeling in my face, sinus problems, and headaches that I did not have before. I struggle with fatigue, skin problems and loss of hair. I have gone to ENt's and a nurologist. Neurolgist suggested possible nerve damage in face from shot. I have had blood tests and they say other then my red blood cells being somewhat large what ever that means, there is nothing wrong. One tried to hint that maybe I'm the problem.I have never had heath problems before either mentally or physically. THe tooth in question although it no longer hurts, feels strange and I'm always aware of it. I get a different opinion from every dentist I have gone to. One wants to retreat, one thinks I should pull it, ect. Most recently, my vision seem to be affected and Im having problems wearing contacts. I really want to resolve this but I am unsure what direction to go. Could it be cracked? What would be the symptoms? I took antibiotics once for 10 days, did not seem to make a big difference. I also saw an oral surgeon who referred me back to another endodontist who cannot tell what is wrong. I've had everything checked, Ct scans, and sinus xrays. I fianaly gave up and quit going to dr's and dentists, but my symptoms are not going away. PLease respond with ideas. By the way I have been wearing the crown with only temporary cement for 11 months while trying to decide what to do. I also had my thyroid checked and it is normal. ANy body elso out there with similar problems. If so what did you do and how was it resolved?

Also may want to search on the large red blood cells. I seem to remember reading something about that and chronic fatigue.
