My twin brother and I both get, what my brothers doctor called, migraines without the headache. Does anyone know if there is such a thing ? The symptoms... Not being able to focus while looking directly at an object and squiggily lines forming in the periphial vision area. These lines ( they are similar to floaters but are not) move acroos the vision area and after about 15 minutes or so will disappear. This usually occurs about 6-7 times a year so it is not a major problem but is a mystery. Any ideas ?

Make an appointment to see a Neurologist that specializes in migraines/headaches.
You can usually find them situated in Headache Clinics. Check your local Yellow Pages.
Migraines & headaches are 2 different medical conditions.
And to answer your question yes, I have suffer from migraines w/o headaches.
I use to suffer from rebound headaches. I have not had one of those (or any other type of headache) for 2 1/2 years.

I would make an appointment with a neuro like MZ said. I have suffered with migraines for several years. Most of mine do have a headache, but only during my pregnancy have I had the aura's without a headache.
