I get nervous nausea attacks, and I was wondering if anyone here has a good homeopathic (or any!), cure for nausea. I know ginger works, but in what kind of form is best? I'd really like to get this under control.

I am not plugging for the company as I have no relationship with them other than I use there supplements but you should go to your healthfood store or vitamin store and look for NewChapter Supplements. You can find them online as well. Newchapter owns their own farms and makes excellent supplements which include ginger. There are bracelets for motion sickness - I have not tried them. They press on the nerves about 2 fingers up the wrist. It sounds like nausea is a component of anxiety. Stay away from the drugs (you probably know this) and investigate the usual Sam-E, St. Johns Wort, etc. And most people don't drink enough water - it's amazing what water can do for the body. So many things you can do dietary to help your general health which in turn helps your mental state of well being. You can find more on here about meditation, etc. Cut the stress from your life and everything gets better.

Well I know that when I used to travel, I used to encounter some nausea. However, what I've found effective is Ginger. So, you may want buy some ginger candy or bring some ginger snaps with you.

Hi scarlet -
I just wanted you to know I have this issue as well. I have anxiety and panic that mostly manifests itself as and is caused by nausea. Peppermint tea is good when drank after meals as the above people said, but mine got so bad I have to take Xanax for anxiety. it makes me feel a whole lot better. My anxiety/nausea is just way too strong for anything natural.

Good luck with that XANAX - it's the hardest thing in the world to come off of. You may be hoping you ONLY have anxiety once you experience XANANX withdrawal. XANAX is NOT a cure and you will find that out down the road.

I never said it was a cure, and I am not taking it regularly so I am not worried about coming off. In fact, i have been taking it on and off at .5 mg for 2 years and have never had a problem. I haven't taken any for 2 weeks and i feel great. Just because something didn't work for you doesn't mean it won't work for someone else. You shouldn't judge other people's med usage without knowing the situation. My anxiety is so debilitating I couldn't leave the house or work before I got Xanax - it has given me my life back. So get off your high horse.
