Hi all.

I have had a certain problem for 3 years now and I am clueless as to what it is, along with the doctors sadly.

I am trying to think of everything and anything it can be. My symptoms are head related so I thought maybe teeth could be one aspect.

Okay well I am 22 and for the last 5 years my wisdoms have been trying to come through and they are still half out half in. No pain but still not fully through. Also I have a tooth wedged above my front upper left tooth, it is out of sight and was only found via a x-ray. It is my main tooth that is wedged as my baby tooth is still there, I think it is called the eye tooth.

My symptoms are dizziness, fuzzy eyesight, headaches, and bad balance along with other things. I only slightly suspect a dental problem as virtually every other area has been looked in to. My dentist doesn't know if it could or couldn't cause such problems.

Can anyone help ? Is there a chance ? Or am I totally way off with such a thought ? What sort of doctor should I see ?

Many thanks.

Jon

I'm wondering if you've seen an ear nose and throat specialist. Perhaps what's happened is that with your wisdom teeth coming in it may have changed your bite (the way your teeth clamp together when your jaw is closed). This has been known to lead to headaches, and teeth grinding at night. As far as the rest of your symptoms, they maybe due to fatigue if your not sleeping properly.

If you've been checked out by other doctors it may be something you want to look into. But I wouldn't wait to long. It must be very uncomfortable for you.

I suspect that you are right when you assume your wisdom teeth are to blame. In some cases partially erupted wisdom teeth can cause sinus and inner ear trouble. Which could be linked to your symptoms. I agree that you should see a Ear, Nose, & Throat Specialist and maybe even get a 2nd oppinion from another dentist. Hope this helps.
