My boyfriend of 33, has had high blood pressure since he was 15, he is currently taking medication for his blood pressure and, to keep his artery's open, cant remember the names, but I have looked them up and thats what they are for......He had a stint put in back in March, right before we started dating and everyone was so suprised how well he was doing, until now.

During the last few days, i have notice, he's face swelling and he is very angry at everyone....His chest has been hurting him in the last few day's,
He went to the doctor yesterday and they gave him a shot for fluid. He went back today, i guess for a check on the fluid, not sure how that turned out. He has been told that he will need a triple bypass or the worst will happen.....

I guess my question is, how do you deal with someone who is so young, i have spoke with someone who is close to him, and they say that he is scared to die, and if he goes to the hospital thats whats going to happen.... he is so angry all the time and moody. Im scared that he will end up just falling out somewhere and have to go to the hospital that way.....

I myself, do not know how to deal with such a hugh health issue outside of supporting him and letting him know that im there..... but it almost like he pushes me away to keep me safe, and then pulls me back in to make sure Im there..... any advice would be great..... i do love my man and what the very best for him, im just not sure how to go about doing it, without him thinking im mothering him..... He is a very.... im a man and i can handle it.. type guy, just so you know what im dealing with.

Hi Cindy I am 37 year old female I had a heart attack in nov and had a stent i am a mum of 5 children and i have the best husband ever but boy do i make it hard for everyone i get angry a lot i am still stuggling with pain and i know one day i will need a bypass you see i was a very healthy person untill this happened to me and i dont understand why it did. I have given my husband such a hard time with my moods but he is still there and standing by me and even thou i tell him i dont need you i know i do need him badly it will get better hang in there cindy this type of thing is scary being so young.
