Hey
From couple of weeks when I get up in the morning, I see something white sticky stuff on my lips. It also gets dry if I take it in my hand. It is not in more quantity. Can you please tell me what it is, because it is causing me worries. My mom told me that it is your saliva because there may be more bacteria in my stomach. But it is different from saliva. Is it true?
Thank you

I'm a bit confused by what you mean about `white sticky stuff.' Do you mean its flaky and when you rub your hand across your lips, then it feels sticky? If this is the case then this is normal. Its called dry, cracked lips. Try using vaseline or buy some lipsel from the chemist. Dont lick your lips and try to keep them dry. :)

Try brushing your teeth before you go to bed or swishing your mouth out with water before you go to bed. You can also go to any store and buy Aquaphor or vasaline and put it on your lips before you go to sleep. It is just yuck from saliva no biggie. I don't see any reason to worry. For me chapsticks make my lips chapped. I like vasaline or Aquaphor.
