Well, I received the records I requested from the EP visit which was only once in March 2004. I went to him for basically a second opinion after receiving the dx of SVT from a cardiologist after a four+ hour long episode in the ER.
It says the following info:
- Echocardiogram revealed normal left ventricular function
Is only the left ventricle important? Why no mention of anything else from echo?
- Holter monitor showed nothing tho she had no sx that day.
- 12 lead ECGs in the ER during the episode revealed sinus tachycardia with NO documentation of any SVT.
So, why the diagnosis of SVT then??
- We described the mechanism for Inappropiate Sinus Tachycardia, SVT, and Premature contractions. We assured her the benign nature of these arrythmias. We will see her after her child is born.
Tho when I called several months ago, they said no need to be seen if I am feeling ok
I am still confused....aaarrrgggg
