View Full Version : Growing concerned

Last wednesday (9/21/05), I was in the car with my dad on the way to my german class.

I felt an odd soreness on my jaw, and started feeling around underneath my chin. I found an odd, sore lump underneath my skin about the size of a dime (roughly 1.5 cm).

Over the next few days it got bigger. Saturday (9/24/05) it was much larger and noticeably swollen when I looked in the mirror. After that it started getting smaller, and I was no longer concerned.

It didn't go away, and with it came lightheadedness, headaches, and a soreness in my abdominal muscles when I sneeze, breath deeply, or yawn.

Whether these symptons are related, I don't know.

I don't feel sick, just extremely uncomfortable. I can't stand up or not have my head supported for very long- or the lightheaded feeling becomes too severe.

I'm not sure if you would call it lightheaded-- it's the same feeling I get if I've been physically working too hard, and it feels like I'm going to throw up.

If I lay down, the feeling is lessened.

I'm concerned.
If you can offer me any sort of help, advice, anything, PLEASE DO.

Why don't you just go to the doctor to have yourself checked out?
