it seems i may have pinpointed the problem. It seems that friday i had a strainious mini work out that worked my arms and thighs holding me up in for few min. then the next day i was lifting some furniture and i grabbed it a weird way and it "strained" my arms where my biecpts meet my vien, but with out pain. My question is this, could the weakness from that strain be present a week later and with no pain? could that have also effected my shoulders?

No, I do not believe restless legs will cause the other problems, but, do believe you strained more muscles than you realize in doing the workout and moving furniture. Yes, you can still have problems a week later and could have them up to a year or more depending on how bad you strained the muscles in your upper arms/shoulder area. It has been 5 years since I strained my upper arms/shoulder area and still have problems. Needless to say I do not use certain exercise machines at the gym anymore or move heavy furniture.

An experienced weight lifter told me I should take care of my arms/shoulders or they would never heal. I believe he is right, because every time I went back to using the machines my arms/shoulders got worse. I now use 2 lb. weights and lift over my head while sitting on large exercise ball in order to help strengthen arm muscles.

I meant to phrase it like this, sorry, can restless legs feel like a "weakness"

and its possible to strain a muscle and feel the effects with out pain?
