I had my Both Big toes Fused 12 Months ago and my left foot has been nothing but trouble ever since, Free standing my Right toe Just sits of the ground ,My left Toe You can put your little under it and walking normal it dose not touch the ground. Q. What angle are they supposed to be set at
I am currently having insoles made to try and compensate the difference But right now its throwing my whole left side out The operation was littered with errors from one pin going thru to lock two toes together to another coming out between my toes Etc,
Beside another operation which involves cutting thru the bone this time I dont know what to do

Has anyone had simular problems

Which joints did you have fused? The mtp joint or the mtp and tmt joint?? Looking forward with trepidation to the tmt joint being fused but am scared of making a mistake. Why did you have it done? How long ago?

The normal angle is 10-15*. Because you are male you should be the lesser of the degrees.............no need for heels, right? I sure hope you can get this solved without another surgery..............have you gotten another opinion from a truely qualified DR? You could have legal grounds, maybe, I am not encouraging this by no means.............but do think you need to seek a qualified DR to help you.
